Våfflor med vichyvatten - riktigt frasiga

My favourite waffles

Makes: 8

1 stick of butter (100g)2 egg
3/4 cup milk
1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
3/4 cup sparkling water


  1. Melt the butter and set aside to cool down
  2. Put eggs and milk in a bowl and whisk until fluffy
  3. Mix flour and baking powder in a separate bowl
  4. Sift half of the dry ingredients over the egg mixture and fold in gently with a large rubber spatula. Add the melted butter. Sift the remaining half of the dry ingredients and fold in gently.
  5. Leave the mixture to swell for 30-60 minutes
  6. Add the sparkling water into the mixture and fold in gently
  7. Bake the waffles in a waffle maker (please note, that this recipe is best suited for a thin waffle maker)
  8. Serve with fresh berries, whipped cream or ice cream
